My Gallery Wall

Wow, does that feel amazing to say, “MY gallery wall!”

It’s been a busy few weeks—with a little sickness thrown in—but I’ve been framing, painting, labeling, planning, and now, finally, everything is coming together! All my hard work is paying off, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.

If you remember from my last post, I’ve become a member of a gallery for the first time! Let me share some details about it. The Saltwater Artists Gallery features 27 creators, each with their own section to display their work for the season from May through October. The gallery officially opens for the season on May 22, with weekends only at first, expanding to seven days a week on June 12. While I won’t be working my first shift until July, I’ll keep you posted on when I’ll be there so you can stop by!

You can visit us at 3056 Bristol Road, New Harbor, ME 04554 (just click on the address to see the map).

Here’s something new I just found out: my gallery has been ranked in the top 5 galleries in Maine by DownEast for the last five years! And that brings me to my next exciting update: the voting polls are opening this week. If you could take a moment to vote for the Saltwater Artists Gallery, I’d be so grateful. The link is below—let’s make it the Best of Maine Businesses—again! It would be amazing to be number 1!

I recently completed my orientation at the gallery, and while it was a little overwhelming at times, I’m also buzzing with nervous anticipation. There’s so much to learn, but my favorite part is that I finally listened to my inner voice, pursued what I truly wanted, and it’s all coming to fruition. It’s incredibly exciting!
